Questions asked
- Do we need to close for the day?
- No. I shoot around a live kitchen, shop floor or office.
- Who owns the photos?
- I keep the copyright, which is standard. You can use them on your website, Google and social media for as long as you like. Print and adverts can be added.
- Do you add VAT?
- No. Not VAT registered. The price is what you pay.
- Can we see them on the day?
- Yes. On the back of the camera as we go, while there’s still time to change something.
- Do you travel?
- Travel within 30 miles of the studio is included. Further is fine: 45p a mile for the extra miles. It’s usually less than you think.
- Can we have the unedited files?
- No. You wouldn’t ask a chef for the raw ingredients.
- How fast do we get them?
- Edited photos within five working days. Hard deadline? Say so at the start.
- What if the job is too big for you?
- You’ll hear it before you book, along with who to ring instead.
- Are you insured?
- Yes. Public liability and professional indemnity.
